This past week we had the privilege of meeting the first lady Michelle Obama. We took the day off from school and while speaking with her we told her about Stoney Clover Lane, how we got started, and what we do. She was very interested in our work with Dream Foundation & the story of the bracelets. She told us how her girls would love some and we happened to have a few sets with us. We gave her one for each of her girls and one for herself. The sets we gifted her with were the Ken Set, the Lib Set, and the LUCK+LOVE set. Hopefully we should be getting some pictures soon of us giving her the bracelets for you all to see. She later gave a speech where she mentioned us and and the work that we do. She said "And to your two gorgeous daughters, who are doing terrific things and skipping school -- for a very good reason, mind you.  Thank you, thank you for the gifts for the girls as well." We were so honored to have met her and thrilled when she mentioned us in her speech. We cannot thank her enough and hope that she and the girls love their bracelets!
